Terms of Service for myhomefix

Welcome to myhomefix, the localized service booking platform for home maintenance and repair tasks across regions. By accessing or using myhomefix.online, you agree to these Terms of Service.
1. Definitions
- Platform: The website myhomefix.online and related services.
- Services: On-site home maintenance or repair offerings.
- Info Products: Digital guides, tutorials, or manuals available for download or streaming.
- Goods: Physical products supplied through the Platform.
2. Scope of Services
myhomefix allows users to book local professionals for home maintenance and repair tasks, purchase digital info products, and order physical goods. Services vary by region and are subject to availability.
3. Booking, Payments and Fees
Users may book a service by selecting a time slot and providing required details. Fees are displayed before confirmation. All charges are final unless otherwise stated in Section 4.
4. Refund Policy
4.1 Services
All service bookings may be canceled or rescheduled up to 24 hours prior to the appointment without charge. Cancellations between 24 and 2 hours before the scheduled start incur a 50% fee of the service price. Cancelling less than 2 hours before, or a no-show, results in no refund due to technician dispatch and preparation costs.
Refunds are processed within 7 days to the original payment method. Alternatively, users may choose account credit, valid for one year.
Certain premium or emergency services marked as “Non-Refundable” are final at time of booking due to special equipment and specialist allocation.
4.2 Info Products
Digital info products are final sale once downloaded. Users may request a refund within 14 days of purchase if no digital content has been accessed. Approved refunds are issued within 5 days to the original payment method or as account credit.
4.3 Goods
Physical goods delivered through myhomefix.online may be returned within 30 days in original condition and packaging. Return shipping costs are the user’s responsibility unless the item is defective. Refunds are issued within 10 days of receipt and inspection, to the original payment method.
5. Rescheduling Services
Users may reschedule booked services at no extra cost if done at least 24 hours in advance. Reschedules between 24 and 2 hours before incur a 20% change fee. Less than 2 hours notice is treated as cancellation.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform is owned by myhomefix or its licensors. Users may not reproduce or distribute any materials without written permission.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, myhomefix’s total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms shall not exceed the fees paid by the user for the relevant service or product.
8. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario, Canada, without regard to conflict of laws principles.
